This week for maths Mr Wong's groups are playing a game a lot like monopoly except with this game we had to do learning, for every task that we completed we would get a set amount of money also, like monopoly there were disasters and if we didn't buy insurance we would have to pay a random amount of money. The only thing with the insurance was that you had to pay for that too, even though we had to pay it was only a small amount which was way worth it if the disaster wheel landed on our name or landed on everyone. To start off with we were given $50 (It was all fake money) and we also had to pay income tax ($1) rent for where we sat (Table = $20). The prize for having the most amount of money by the end of the school year is chocolate because nobody else gave any ideas.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teacher is Mrs Anderson.
