Today I did the bonus activity for the second day of the second week, for it I had to pretend that I could bring some gifts to my ancestors in the 1930s and say what I'd bring them from the present.
I'd bring them some Favourites and Milo so then they'd have something to eat and drink.

Hi Alex,
ReplyDeleteRuby here from the Summer Learning Journey team!
Good thinking! It's always helpful when someone brings food and drink. I wonder if they had either of those things back in 1930. Perhaps you could do some research and find out?
I thought I might take them some warm clothes so that they wouldn't feel the cold. What do you think the people in the 1930s would say if they saw some of todays fashions?! Women in the 1930s were only just starting to wear trousers. These days, almost all women wear trousers!
I look forward to reading more of your blog over the summer.
Cheers,
Ruby.
Malo e Lelei Alex,
ReplyDeleteI've done this task too. I really love the way you've added in a image and attributed it. What would you bring for the kids? Next time you should get a image of favorites.
Nice Work.
Hello Alex
ReplyDeleteWell done on completing this summer learning journey activity. I love Favorites and Milo - they go great together. Which one of the Favorites is your favorite? In my opinion, crunchie is the best. Keep up the awesome work Alex.
