Kokako Lodge Brochure

This week LS2 has been celebrating camp, one of our tasks was to create a brochure for Kokako Lodge. My group (Marieta, Joel, Viliami and Joseph) filled the outside part of the brochure with information, and the inside with pictures of what the camp, activities and waterfall look like. To make it easier for us to complete the brochure we organised ourselves into different jobs, mine was to write the introduction.

Heroes And Role Models Venn Diagram

This week one of our tasks for Inquiry was to create a venn diagram on the similarities and differences between a role model and a hero. Although there isn't a big difference between role models and heroes, since we look up to both of them, it was interesting to learn about.

Leadership DLO

This week we've been learning about leadership. Marieta, Joel, Viliami, Miiana, Sakina and I worked together to create a DLO on what a leader is, what goals we have as leaders this year, what responsibilities we have as leaders this year and what makes a good leader. For what makes a good leader we wrote things like: Someone who can step down and let others have a turn, someone who can take the initiative and someone who can learn from both their mistakes and successes.

Teamwork Sketchnote

Today Marieta, Joel, Sakina and I worked together to create a sketchnote on what a team is, our definition of a team is a group of people who work together to achieve a common purpose. In teams all members must respect one another, make sure everyone is included and respect all opinions. Three things that people need to do in teams are: Communicate, collaborate and participate.

Panmure Bridge School CARE Values

Today Joel, Viliami, Marieta and I worked together to create a DLO on our school's CARE Values. In it we needed to include how we could show the values and what they mean, an additional task was to brainstorm how we could use pictures to show what the values would look like. For the confidence value we chose to have someone standing up and pretending to present their work which would take confidence and for other values we had raising one's hand to answer a question, picking up rubbish around the school and completing a set task.
