This week one of our tasks for Inquiry was to create a venn diagram on the similarities and differences between a role model and a hero. Although there isn't a big difference between role models and heroes, since we look up to both of them, it was interesting to learn about.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teacher is Mrs Anderson.

Bridge Comparison
For Inquiry this term our topic is structures. Today we were looking at bridges. In pairs we were to create a Venn Diagram comparing the Auckland Viaduct Harbour Bridge with the Golden Gate Bridge. My partner was Alex. I learnt that 11 people past away during the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge. Did you know that cars can't cross the Auckland Viaduct Bridge.

PBS And Olympic Venn Diagram
This week one of our inquiry tasks was to create a Venn Diagram on the Olympic values and our school values, at one point we had to change something because both of the things being compared had Respect and Excellence as values. To change that all we needed to do was swap them over to the similarities slot, we also found out that the Olympic motto is in Latin and translated it means Faster, Higher, Stronger.
