  3. Hi Alex!! It's great to see that you made time on the 24th of December (Christmas Eve) to blog with us! That is amazing.

I love that you have chosen to go to England. I had the opportunity to live in England for a few years and I loved it! I lived in a really interesting (and quite old) city called 'Norwich.' It was about 2 hours east of London by train and my friends and I used to head into London every few weeks to see a show or visit a museum. London truly is a spectacular place but, in January, it is (as you wrote in your blog) usually rainy. It is also usually quite cold! I think that the best time to visit London would be in the late spring (May/June) or early fall (September).

I hope that you are able to continue your blogging with us again soon! In the meantime, have a wonderful time with your family and friends over Christmas and New Years.

Wishing you a safe and happy start to 2017,

    Rachel

  4. Kia ora Alex,

Well done on starting Day 2 of your Learning Journey! Especially on Christmas Eve, that's great commitment!

I'm glad to see how much you are learning about England already, and I hope you keep blogging over the summer holidays :-) England would be a fascinating place to visit, with a lot of history - especially in London! Their weather might not be too flash at the moment though, so I reckon I'd prefer a New Zealand Christmas in the sunshine with lots of beaches to go swimming at!

London sounds like a very busy place. Could you imagine living in a city with twice the population of New Zealand living there? Although you'd get to meet so many new and exciting people i reckon! What's the first thing you'd like to do if you visited London?

Keep up the great work Alex, I hope to read more from you soon.

    Dan.
