Holiday reading challenge day 2 activity 2

For this activity I had to say my opinion on whether or not bull fighting should be allowed in Spain.

I think it shouldn't be allowed because they probably are kept in cages and annoyed by people so they are angry when in the bull ring, also the bull fighters can also be injured.

  1. Hello Alex, I really agree that bullfighting should be banned in Spain. It is really sad for the bulls because at the end they end up dying. Keep up the awesome work.

  2. Hi Alex (and AJ),

It's great to see you blogging today as part of the Summer Learning Journey :) Today's blog is a really challenging activity because it involves a very controversial activity - bullfighting. Alex, I really like the way that you thought about the question and gave two good reasons that support your argument against bullfighting.

I definitely agree with you that bullfighting should be banned. It is a traditional sport that has a deep and rich history in Spain, however, it is a relatively violent and dangerous activity that puts both the bullfighter (matador) and the bulls at risk of injury and/or death.

Thanks for thinking so carefully about this question and for posting your critique of the sport.

Keep up the great work, Alex!!

    Cheers,
    Rachel :)
