Hello Alex, it is great to know that you have started doing the Summer Learning Journey. I like how made sure you gave reasons why chose England. Keep up the great work.
Welcome to the Summer Learning Journey! We are so happy to have you blogging with us over the summer holidays. I'm looking forward to reading your blogs taking us through your journey to England. What an interesting place to visit!
My name is Dan, and I'm working alongside Rachel and Mark over the summer. I'm lucky enough to be able to read your blogs and I'll be leaving comments as I go. If you want to reply to my comments then please do! I'd love to know what you think, or if you have any questions, feel free to ask away.
Well done on completing the first learning activity. I think England would be a fascinating country to visit. Living in New Zealand, we have a strong connection to England as we are still a part of the Commonwealth. Many New Zealanders have strong cultural and family links to England, do you have any family from England, Alex?
The Queen and the Royal Family are still a significant part of the English culture over there. Would you be interested in visiting places like Buckingham Palace if you went there? England has such a beautiful countryside, similar to New Zealand in some ways - but nowhere near as many stunning lakes or mountains as we do!
Whenever I'm going somewhere new I like to think about all of the fun things to go and see or do when I'm there. Sometimes it helps to do some research before you go, or talk to someone who might have been there before. Is there anywhere in particular you would really like to visit in England?
Way to go Alex for getting involved with the Summer Learning Journey. I hope to see lots more blogging from you over the next few weeks. I'm very much looking forward to following your learning journey to England.
Hi Alex I live in London and read your blog. I work close to Buckingham Palace where the Queen and her family sometimes live. I agree that its a great place to visit because you can experience royalty in a different way to NZ. But its winter here at the moment, so I'm jealous of the kiwi sunshine that I'm sure you're having. Cant wait to hear what else you think about the UK. Suzanne
