I think that you have selected some really important clothing items for your trip. It is likely to be quite cold in England and you will definitely want your beanie, thick socks, raincoat and windbreaker. Good thinking!
Fortunately, it isn't quite as cold here in New Zealand. I am just about to head out to have dinner and watch some fireworks for new years eve. What are you and your family up to? I hope that you will have a really special evening together.
