This is a great photo, Alex. I love it! I also love Anzac biscuits and, after a brief search on the internet, I can tell you that the rolled oat Anzac biscuit was first created by a baker in New Zealand and included in a cookbook of biscuit recipes back in 1921. Some people believe that it was first eaten by our Anzac troops during the Battle of Gallipoli in 1915 but this has since been disproved. They do not know exactly who first came up with the recipe...
