Today I did the first activity for the fifth day of the second week, for it I had to pretend that I was alive when VE (Victory in Europe) day happened and then write down what I'd do to celebrate.
I would go and buy some fizzy drinks and chocolate to do share with family members, I'd also run around and jump up and down on my trampoline. After that my family and I'd probably go to some other place like the pools to have fun, and then when it gets late I'd stay up until it was really late and then finally go to sleep.

ReplyDeleteSounds like a very relaxing party to go to Alex, I bet so many people back then would have loved the time to just be together and chill. Chocolates! Yum! What is your favourite kind of chocolate?
Would you have any music at your party? The pools would be a very cool place to hold a party I reckon.
What do you think people back then on VE day would have been feeling? I bet they would have felt relieved and at peace. The war lasted so long! What do you reckon?

ReplyDeleteGreat job on finishing this summer learning journey activity. I would also drink and eat heaps of sugary stuff in celebration. It would also be heaps of fun bouncing on a trampoline or playing at the pools. Keep up the good work.
