Holiday reading challenge day 2 activity 1

For this activity I had to pretend I went to Tane Mahuta, Karekare Beach and Rangitoto island I then had to write about which one I like the most and why.

I liked Rangitoto the best because it was interesting to know that it emerged from the sea 600 years ago and that it is the youngest volcano in New Zealand as well as the fact that it has no pests.

  1. Hi Alex,
Your blog post tells me that you have been listening to what you had to do. I also loved Rangitoto too. I love it how you said what place you enjoyed the most and why.
    Good Job.

  3. Hi Alex!

Think I would choose Rangitoto Island too! It seems like beautiful place with lots of things to do! That's very cool that it has no pests! Is there any native wildlife that lives there?

  4. Hey Alex
Great job on this activity. I had no idea that Rangitoto emerged from the sea six hundred years ago. Keep up the good work.

  5. Hello Alex, for this activity I also chose Rangitoto as my favourite place to visit out of the three. Did you know that Rangitoto is the largest volcano in Auckland?
