Holiday Reading Challenge Week 3 Day 1 Activity 1

Today I did the first activity for the firs day of the third week, for it I had to say whether or not I like the meat and three veg rule.

I like it because that means that you can have a balanced diet, not too much meat and not too many vegetables. Three is a reasonable amount for vegetables, if you added lots more most kids wouldn't eat their meals.

  1. Hey there Alex, happy new year! My name is Billy from the Summer Learning Journey programme. It's great to see you've been blogging and working hard over your break.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the meat and three veg rule. It's great to see that you are positive about the rule and would be happy to give it a go. I was wondering, do you think you might get bored of having the same kind of meal each night?

What do you usually have for dinner?

    Thanks, Billy

  2. Hey Alex,
I've done this task too. I really love the way you've added in a image of yummy food. Congratulation for posting another SLJ poster. Would you eat this for dinner?
    Nice Work.

  3. Hello Alex,

I think the three veg rule is a good idea because its a good diet for people who want to loose weight. I've done this activity too. I think this was on of my favorite activities. Maybe next time you should attribute your image. What is your favorite vegetables?

    Keep up the great blogging!

  4. Hi Alex
Well done on completing this summer learning journey activity. I also think that the three vege and meat rule is fair. It has a decent mix of meat and vegetables (Which, like you said, most kids don't like). Keep up the good work.
