Summer Reading Challenge

The book that I remember that I liked (and still do) is captain under pants and the tyrannical retaliation of the turbo toilet 2000:

This book is about George Beard and Harold Hutchins who created turbo toilet 2000 tried to destroy it but failed and now he's out for revenge!

The Author is Dav Pikley.

  1. Wow, Alex, this sounds like an action packed book. Is it part of a series of books by Dav Pikley? I haven't come across this particular author before but it sounds like he writes really funny stories. I love books that can make you laugh!

Unfortunately most of the books that I currently read are for my job so they're a bit serious and academic but I am trying to get back into reading for pleasure. I typically choose books that are stories about real people's lives, either written by the person themselves ('autobiographies') or written by someone else about that person's life ('biographies'). I recently read a really fascinating one about the life of a cyclist named Lance Armstrong. He won the Tour de France (a 21-stage cycling race in Europe) a record number of times but later admitted to cheating (drug doping). I found his biography really interesting.

Speaking of reading I think that I will now head out and read for a little while on the beach. It's such a beautiful Sunday. I love the sunshine! I'll check back in with you tomorrow :)

    Cheers,
    Rachel
