I wonder if the European hedgehog is like the hedgehogs that live in New Zealand. When I was visiting Auckland in May I found a little hedgehog on the driveway of the house in which I was staying. It was adorable and very shy. I felt lucky to see one because they usually prefer to come out at night. Have you ever seen one?
