How to make a 3D net

LI to create my own 3D shape with a different capacity from volume.
This week for maths Mr Wong's groups had to start making their 3D nets and shapes, (We did the planning last week) we were given a big piece of cardboard to draw our nets on. We weren't allowed to use the whole piece of cardboard for just one shape though, we had to share it with others. One of the tricky parts was trying to get straight lines, the reason for this is because the cardboard was too big for our rulers so we had to estimate on whether or not we thought it was straight. Once we were done we then had to make a video explaining how to make one.
I did this by using a ruler to try and make the lines straight, partnering up with Jack and Julian to make the video and also by trying multiple times to get the lines straight.
