Argument Scaffold

Body of text
Introduction:
I am for letting schools have indoor swimming pools because the students that go to the school might be able to get jobs as lifeguards and save someone's life one day.
Reason 1: Safety
Supportive details
I believe that swimming pools will save children's lives one day if they need to swim out of their boat that’s sinking or save someone that might be drowning under water. Maybe even if they’re going on a canoe ride and their canoe capsizes they would need to swim to safety then too.
Reason 2: Jobs
Supportive details
Students may want to be swimming instructors when they finish their schooling. They could learn to swim and following their dream to be an swimming instructor. This would be accomplished and then they might save someone else’s life by just teaching them how to swim. For example if someone had taught the passengers on the Titanic how to swim more people would have survived the accident when the massive iceberg hit the vessel and 1,503 died.
Reason 3: Efficiency
Supportive details
If we had an indoor swimming pool at Panmure Bridge School it would bring more pupils to the this school.
Swimming pools would enable schools to do fundraising, especially if schools charged families and the public a fee to use the swimming pool over school holidays. If schools make enough money, then it would cover the maintenance of the pool. This would pay for the heating, cleaning chemicals and the caretakers to look after the pool. It would provide entertainment and education for students and families.
Conclusion:
That’s why I think that all schools in New Zealand should have swimming pools.
